Now heres a funny thing !
You may well recall or might have read in the media that at the last council meeting a motion was put forward by our own Cllr Julia Gooch about belonging to extreme groups and whether , if a Councillor does, should they vote on motions about what might be considered extreme groups. The motion was lost due to Greens and Labour voting against it but during the debate it was made clear by the monitoring officer that being a member of such groups was something a councillor needs to register publicly on their declaration of interest form.
During this debate it was indeed heartening that the Leader of the Council and his Cabinet colleagues agreed that all such declarations must be made. Good news for transparancy Im sure you will agree.

Now we could go on and offer similar comparisons for other Green Cllrs.
How fortunate are we that these good people have decided to no longer have any links to what might be considered extreme groups ( thats what they have made a legal declaration stating) and how unfortunate that so many of them keep getting forced into carrying banners and placards when they are out and about going about their business.
Have a look on the FODDC webpage under Councillors, see how many cabinet members declare Extinction Rebellion or just stop oil since the last election. Strange indeed !
